Welcome Boston Lesbian Movielanders!

"Lesbian Movieland" is for the gay, bi and questioning women of MetroBoston who want to watch queer movies. We love the dyke drama...on screen only, of course!

Would you like to host an event? We are currently looking for more hosts...it's a great way to meet people! and we come to you, plus bring snacks...

The "Lesbian Movieland" meetup group is a form of dyke community that doesn't involve having to go out to bars to be a part of, although we don't mind drinking. Sometimes it is easier to connect with people in a smaller group; do you agree? We are lucky to have so many fun opportunities to go out around Boston with Dyke Night, She Sundays, the Midway and more. Yet if you are just moving to Boston, you may not have a posse to go dancing with! We suspect that many newcomers to the area have this same difficulty.. or maybe you've lived here for years but all of your friends are settled down... or you just need a new scene once in a while!

If you have any suggestions for films or shows for the group to watch, please contact us with ideas! We love to hear from you and look forward to meeting all of you in person.
