 WELCOME TO OUR YEARLY SPECTACULAR L-WORD GALA IN PROVINCETOWN, MASSACHUSETTS!!!!!!!!! Hi Everyone, COME ONE, COME ALL, TO OUR FOURTH ANNUAL L-WORD GALA IN PROVINCETOWN, MASSACHUSETTS. LAST YEAR WE HAD 37 STATES REPRESENTED, AN OLIVIA CRUISE GIVEAWAY, CURVE MAGAZINE COVERAGE, AND SHOWTIME SPONSORSHIP!!!!!! THIS YEAR WILL BE EVEN BIGGER AND BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Each year, for the past four years, I have selected cities on the East Coast to celebrate our pride. We have had one in NYC, Philadelphia, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This year's will be in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The number of attendees is approximately 150 lesbian women from around the country. This year will be limited to 100 guests because of the venue. Entertainment such as comedianne Suzanne Westenhoefer, photographer Judy Franscesconi, pop and country singer Steff Mahan have performed for our private gathering. This year's entertainment will be Suzanne Westenhoefer again. Everyone wanted her back, and she is thrilled to be returning. Also, pop and blues singer Suede will be our guest on Sunday evening. We have one night devoted to dinner, dancing, a dj, and giveaways. Last year we gave away an Olivia Cruise. There will also be other events and fun activities I am presently planning. We will be having a karaoke contest with giveaways. A sunset cruise and a dune buggy tour are also in the works. Of course, we can't forget a flag football game on the beach!!!! The dates are from Thursday, September 20 through Monday, September 24. The cost per person is $140.00 plus hotel/bedandbreakfasts accomodations. I have negotiated special rates with each place for room accomodations. Last year Curve Magazine "covered" the party, and the article will be in April, next month's issue. If any of you would be interested in attending, I would like to give you an opportunity. There are still spots opened before it is advertised in Curve. This year's party will be spectacular, and I know you are going to have a time you will never forget. Lots of fun and surprises are in store!!! This year's theme will continue to be"Live, Laugh and Love". However, we've also added an underlying theme to this year's weekend: "Provincetown: Know Love, No Hate". We are going to have fun, fun, fun!!!!! We are so looking forward to this year's events. It is going to be even bigger and better!!!!!
